Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging English and Maths lessons for KS3 students
• Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve academic goals
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience in teaching KS3 English and Maths
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at KS3 level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans
• Strong classroom management skills
• Adaptability and flexibility in teaching methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Working hours may vary
• Home-based teaching with some potential for remote or online teaching
• Collaborative work with other educators and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
