Haulier Compliance Supervisor

The purpose of this role will be to oversee and collaborate with external haulage partners to ensure full compliance with regulations.
As part of this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for establishing a preferred and legally compliant supplier list for Breedon, ensuring streamlined processes for supplier selection.
Key Responsibilities
Embed and promote a culture of health, safety and wellbeing across logistic operations, actively championing our Home Safe and Well goal and reinforcing through effective leadership and engagement.Implement and maintain a centralised system for onboarding new hauliers.Establish procedures to systematically track and manage the signing and renewal of contracts with hauliers.Supervise the seamless integration of haulier induction procedures with our external MP Connect platform, ensuring alignment and efficiency.Collaborate closely with the distribution team to promptly report any nonconformance issues, ensuring swift action to place hauliers on hold until the required documents are received.Construct monthly reports to provide the business with up to date information regarding the number of hauliers and completed checks, offering comprehensive insights into compliance status and operational efficiencyCompleting audit checks on hauliers, whether randomly or as needed, ensures compliance and safety within logistics operations, covering documentation review and on site inspections to maintain standards and mitigate risks effectively.Have a vast understanding of FORS (Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme) standards and guidelines, Assist in achieving the Transport and Logistics roadmap regarding accreditations.As the primary contact, facilitate haulier engagement days by coordinating logistics, scheduling, and communication to ensure successful and meaningful interactions between the company and hauliers.Collaborate closely with transport managers to maintain consistent compliance standards within our owner driver community, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
