Main duties of the job

We invite applicants to apply for a combination of Southwark- and SEL-based CCPL roles as we believe this will bring benefits to team-working at all levels of our system and offer opportunities for personal development.

As a CCPL lead you will have responsibility for specific portfolio and subject matter areas within one of four strategic portfolios. We invite applications for the following strategic portfolios:

o Older Adult portfolio including Frailty (falls), Prevention, Lower Limb Wound Care (LLWC), End of Life (EOL all age), Neighbourhood

Job description

Job responsibilities

Provide leadership and support to the areas of work aligned to your portfolio including chairing your portfolios leadership meeting, as well as linking into South East London Integrated Care System transformation programmes (where relevant) Develop and strengthen partnerships by building relationships with key partners to help deliver our vision, of being more inclusive in our approach to planning, redesign, and delivery Connect and build trust with colleagues and residents across traditional boundaries - developing strong networks and relationships that work in service of residents over organisations, places, or professional groups Ensure that service delivery is person centred, outcomes focussed and protective of individual residents dignity Play an ambassadorial role for Partnership Southwark, promoting a culture of openness, transparency, equality and diversity Being a member of our Clinical and Care Professional Advisory Group which will meet quarterly and provide advice and guidance to the Partnership Southwark Strategic Board.

The pay range for this role is £113, to £128, per annum (pro rata for a minimum of 1 session Maximum of 2 sessions week). Please do not apply for this role if the salary does not fit with your salary expectations.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Qualified care and/or clinical professional NMC, HCPC, social work register, GMC etc. Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area. Certificate / qualification in programme management, service improvement or transformation

Skills and Experience

Essential

Able to influence the development of policy and strategy to enhance relevant priorities. Able to identify priorities and dependencies in complex situations. The ability to work in partnership with lead clinicians, health care professionals and other stakeholders and a partnership approach to working across organisations. Provide effective, inclusive and compassionate leadership, ensuring all voices are heard and creating and nurturing a culture where staff feel safe to speak up.

Desirable

Cross organisational and/or professional boundary collaboration experience Sound judgement in the absence of clear guidelines or precedent, seeking advice as necessary from more senior management when appropriate.

Knowledge

Essential

Setting strategic direction in consultation and partnership with stakeholders Champions the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion both within and outside of the organisation. Provide effective, inclusive and compassionate leadership ensuring all voices are heard and creating and nurturing a culture where staff feel safe to speak up. An in-depth understanding of health and care provision and awareness of current ICS/system policies and priorities.
