MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and launch new products (including matching) for specified customers to achieve sales growth. Link design activity to business strategy by delivering innovative products within the constraints of the brief. Use sound commercial and technical awareness of our ingredients, processes and customer requirements to deliver ‘right first time’. Provide technical support to operations/logistics/purchasing for cost release, quality maintenance and improvement programs. Interact with customers to support relationship building and customer intimacy strategy. Interact with suppliers and the general marketplace to ensure up to date ingredients and technologies are employed in new developments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience in dry seasonings Experience in Seasonings and Flavour development BSc Graduate or equivalent, Food Science or related subject Personal Characteristics – creative, self-motivated, dynamic and results orientated. Able to think laterally and solve complex problems. Proven ability of teamwork in a cross-functional environment. Project & team management skills Developed communication skills Able to demonstrate sound understanding of the development process and how it links to the business, including on-line plant trials.
