Our eCommerce websites and apps have grown steadily over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK. We currently sell to 70 international markets, offering our 6 million active customers a personalised shopping experience and the ability to purchase from a wide range of products using multiple delivery methods and payment types. eCommerce is the biggest department at Next and is based across multiple sites and countries, working across development, testing, support, architecture and more to keep ourselves ahead of the pack.
The role

As a Team Leader in our eCommerce Operations team you’ll play a key part in this. You will be responsible for planning sale activity across all platforms, including the quarterly Next VIP sale, manage small developments and system upgrades and will have line-management duties. You’ll do this using different technologies and strategies and we hope you have:
Experience of eCommerce web applications T-SQL, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Javascript and/or CSS proficiencies Experience running Agile, Scrum and Kanban environments Previous involvement in systems development and supportIn addition, we’re looking for you to be:
Able to speak, read and write English at a level that enables you to complete your role, for example, to understand instructions and communicate effectively with stakeholders and/or other team members Experienced in effectively working in a collaborative manner in a large scale, fast paced environment within a multifunctional technical teamAs a Team Leader, you’ll be looking after two of our development teams; Operational Development and Continuous Improvement, as well as first line Support Analysts. There’s a lot to sink your teeth into here including some involvement in smaller projects as well as handling the day-to-day operations of your brilliant teams.
You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office.
