Anexperienced bartender with a passion for guest service and creating memorableexperiences. You will have fantastic communication skills, excellent attentionto detail and a commitment to high standards. To excel in this role you willalso need to be a forward thinker and a strong team player. Due to the hours ofsome events, own transport is essential.
WHATYOU’LL DO …
Youwill be part of a large team of staff helping us to deliver a wide range ofspecial occasions within our Conference and Events department. The nature ofConference and Events ensures that no two days are ever the same. For example, one dayyou are working on an elaborate wedding, the next day could be a large-scalebusiness conference. As a Bartender, you will receive orders and serve guestsin a timely and professional manner whist maintaining the highest level ofservice. You will create and serve a range of beverages including classiccocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks etc. You will keep yourservice area clean, tidy, and well-prepared at all times and have an excellentunderstanding of wines and spirits.
This is the ideal role from which you can develop a great career within The Celtic Collection. You will receive superb training and be able to continue your development both within the Conference and Events teams and within other bar operations in the business such as the impressive Mulberry cocktail bar. The Celtic Collection is a prestigious portfolio of unique hotels and event venues at the gateway to South Wales developed from the success of the Celtic Manor Resort, a flagship business and leisure destination that has been voted the Best UK Hotel for nine of the last 10 years at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards. Host venue of the 2014 NATO Summit and the 2010 Ryder Cup, the Celtic Manor Resort is one of Europe’s finest destinations for luxury escapes, family breaks, special occasions, golfing getaways and business events. The resort offers three championship golf courses, luxury spas, exceptional conference facilities and team-building and family activities including archery, adventure golf, laser clays and treetop ropes courses.
As well as the five-star Resort Hotel, the Collection also includes the historic Manor House, the stylish Coldra Court Hotel, 10 luxury self-catering Hunter Lodges, and the essential convenience of Tŷ Hotel Magor. The 170-bedroom Parkgate Hotel was opened in the city centre of Cardiff in Autumn 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union, and a second Tŷ Hotel opened its doors at Milford Waterfront in the Spring of 2022 in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven.
In September 2019, The Celtic Collection launched the new International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) in a joint venture partnership with Welsh Government.
