Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be on working as part of a team to maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home, operating according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Health and Safety, experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting, and demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials,ensuringthat all areas are well presented andmaintainedin good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..

Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments. Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
