PositionOverview:

As a Cloud Infrastructureand Security Analyst you will play a critical role in maintainingand securing our cloudbased infrastructure. You will work closelywith the Infosec team and infrastructure team to ensure theseamless operation and protection of our cloud environment. Thisrole requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies securityprotocols and infrastructure managementtools.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Cloud InfrastructureManagement:
  • Manageand maintain Azure infrastructure including virtual machinesnetworking and storage resources.
  • Monitor andoptimize resource utilization to ensure costeffectiveness andperformance.
  • Implement automation andscripting for efficient management of cloud resources.
SecurityAdministration:
  • Configure and manage security settings for Office 365 andAzure environments.
  • Implement and maintainsecurity controls including identity and access managementencryption and network security groups.
  • Monitor security alerts and incidents and respondpromptly to mitigate risks.
Email Security:
  • Administer Barracuda Email Gateway to protectagainst emailborne threats.
  • Implement andfinetune email filtering policies to minimize spam and phishingattempts.
  • Collaborate with the Infosec team toenhance email security posture.
EndpointManagement:
  • UtilizeIntune for endpoint management and securityconfiguration.
  • Deploy and manage securitypolicies software updates and device compliance checks.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint issues and provide support toendusers as needed.
Advanced Threat Protection(ATP):
  • Configure andmonitor ATP solutions to detect and respond to advancedthreats.
  • Analyze ATP alerts and investigatepotential security incidents.
  • Collaborate withthe Infosec team to enhance ATP capabilities and threat detectionmechanisms.
Infrastructure Monitoring andReporting:
  • Implementmonitoring solutions to proactively identify performance issues andsecurity vulnerabilities.
  • Generate regularreports on system health security status and complianceposture.
  • Recommend and implement improvementsbased on monitoring insights and analysis.
  1. Support forInfosec andCompliance:
  • Assist the Infosec team in implementing security policiesand procedures.
  • Participate in complianceaudits and provide necessary documentation and evidence.
  • Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure adherenceto regulatory requirements.
  • Support incidentresponse and forensic investigations asrequired.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science InformationTechnology or related field.
  • Experience incloud infrastructure management and securityadministration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft AzureOffice 365 and related cloud technologies.
  • Experience with email security solutions such asBarracuda Email Gateway.
  • Familiarity withendpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices protocolsand compliance standards.
  • Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills.
  • Effectivecommunication and collaborationabilities.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. AZ900 AZ104AZ500).
  • Experience with virtual desktopinfrastructure (VDI) particularly Windows Virtual Desktop(WVD).
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure andprotocols.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity(e.g. CISSP CompTIASecurity).
