PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the daily cash management and administrative tasks of the Treasury function. This will cover cash management processes, for all European entities supported by the Treasury team in the UK.


In addition the job holder will be expected to provide support and cover for the Senior Treasury Analyst.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Assist the day to day liquidity management
 Preparation of daily cash positions across all currencies
 Day to day initiation of payment requests utilizing payment systems
 Execution of foreign exchange via FX dealing systems
 Manage intercompany cash for corporate and settlement processes
 Assist with the preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts
 Ensure all Treasury activity is accurately reflected in the Oracle accounting system
 Ensure that the Kyriba system accurately records all bank account activity
 Creation of monthly accounting general ledger interfaces
 Support with the analysis of FX risk for new products and merchants
 Support with analysis as required including the development of modelling to assist with understanding of financial exposure
 Assist with the preparation of monthly MI reporting as required by Corporate Treasury
 Monitor interest income and expense to ensure accruals are raised as required
 Monitor of bank charges to ensure segregation of funds
 Monitor Safeguarded Bank Accounts and report any breaches in a timely manner
 Prepare and maintain Treasury operating procedures

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)
● Expertise in the card retail and/or financial services industries
● Strong communication skills, oral and written
● Analytical with strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
● Computer literate – excellent knowledge of Excel, and desirable to Macro level
● Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS
● Educated to ‘A’ level, and preferably to degree level
● Part qualified in accountancy and/or treasury or qualified by experience minimum 2 years
