About the Role:

GSL Educationare currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to undertake a position at one of our client schools in boston. Teaching Assistants play a diverse and essential role in primary schools in England, providing valuable support to teachers and helping to meet the individual needs of students across various areas of learning and development. Role of a Teaching Assistance:
  • Teaching Assistance assists teachers in preparing and organizing the classroom for lessons.
  • They help set up learning materials, equipment, and resources needed for various activities, ensuring a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
  • Teaching Assistance works with small groups of students or individual students who need additional help or guidance.
  • They help teachers collect data, monitor student performance, and provide feedback on assignments and activities, contributing to the assessment process and informing instructional planning. 
  • TAs may assist in organizing and supervising extracurricular activities, educational outings, and enrichment programs.
The successful candidate will:
  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary educational setting.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing academic or behavioral challenges.
  • Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
