HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with operational capacity of around 1,100. As our new Primary Care Nurse / RGN, youll be an integral part of the healthcare team, working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. Working within the inpatient unit, be responsible for the safe administration of medication, and delivering excellent patient care. Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £41,265 per annum - depending on experience. Hours: You will work hours per week, and shifts are usually 07:30 - 17:30. This includes weekdays, weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis. How will we support you?

Job responsibilities

As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within amulti-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospitaladmissions. You will undertakemedication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responsesituations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. You will use your skills and knowledge todeliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by amulti-disciplinary team.
