The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:

Making multi drop palletised deliveries to businesses and private addresses across North Devon.Loading/unloading of vehicle.Use of company phone to update delivery progress across 2 network systems.Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.Working closely with the network hubs.Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver:

Must hold a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.Experience of curtain sided trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.Working to deadlines.Confident, polite and a team player.Good geographical knowledge.Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
