This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a creative environment, managing the smooth operation of the office. You’ll handle reception duties, email correspondence, filing, company renewals, membership subscriptions, ordering supplies, and liaising with suppliers and consultants. Keeping the studio calendar and office database updated and ensuring the office remains tidy will be key parts of your responsibilities.
In HR administration, you’ll manage staff development, appraisals, office events, visa sponsorship, office policies, recruitment, contracts, and new staff inductions, maintaining all personnel records confidentially and professionally. Your financial management tasks will include reconciling accounts, managing invoice payments, maintaining client payment and expense records, handling payroll, and liaising with accountants regarding VAT and pensions.
You'll also take charge of communications, updating the website and social media channels, preparing award submissions, liaising with press and media, assisting with photography, and keeping records of released information. As a PA to the principal, you’ll provide project support as needed.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. You should be proficient with Apple OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop), and Xero accounting software, with experience in Datamolino and WordPress being a plus.
