Role & Responsibilities of a Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor:

Summary: To assist the head Housekeeper in the day to day running of the Housekeeping Department, working with the team to ensure a high degree of cleanliness in all areas of the Hotel.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the key signing procedures is followed by the Room attendants and porters.
  • Ensure the daily work sheet is prepared every morning, supervise the completion of sheet at the end of the shift
  • To ensure any guest request is completed swiftly.
  • To support and assist the Head Housekeeper.
  • To manage floor and room attendant manpower.
  • To supervise the Rota and make any necessary changes according to the occupancy and needs of the shifts.
  • To assist with any stock order needed for the smooth running of the department
  • Inspect and responsible for hygiene and sanitation of all guest room, floor and staff.
  • To maintain the cleaning standards in the rooms and public areas.
  • To maintain room set up standard.
  • To supervise all room attendants.
  • To be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s stock of linen.
  • To liaise with the Front Office staff regarding room moves, VIPs, special requests, etc…
  • To ensure the Hotel standards are kept in absence of the Head Housekeeper.
  • To ensure that the guests’ personal property and guest requests are dealt with in an efficient and appropriate manner.

More about You:

·You will have some experience of working in a 5 star hotel

·Possess a friendly personality and excellent customer service skills

·Strong listening, speaking and communication skills
