Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing recommendations.
- Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calling, visiting and research or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging leads, moving through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or calls.
- Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers, achieving 50,000 tons of sales.
- Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with new customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of company products and services.
- Monitor, meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators, demonstrating consistent drive and motivation to succeed.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including documentation.
- Collaborating with the Sales Manager to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
- Performing competitor analysis and share you with senior management team.
- Communicate effectively reporting on any problems, internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales.
- Exposure/knowledge within steel/galvanizing industry is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Excellent sales negotiation skills.
- MUST be willing to travel for meetings.
