These students may have complex needs, such as Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting daily classroom activities and providing one-on-one assistance, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This hands-on experience is perfect for anyone aspiring to a career in education.
Your Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide assistance to students in the classroom, in small groups, or one-on-one.
- Behaviour Management: Maintain a conducive learning environment by monitoring and managing student behaviour.
- Active Engagement: Encourage student participation and promote engagement in their learning.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: While previous experience with children, especially those with SEND, is advantageous, it is not essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students and staff.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Student Engagement: Ability to motivate and engage students in their educational journey.
- Behaviour Management: Competence in effectively managing classroom behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
