Therole

We are looking for a Major ProjectsProject Manager to lead drive and deliver complex multimillionpoundprojects. You ll be responsible for the overall ownership 33 132kVswitchgear and primary substation projects from award to completionfor various renewable technologies.


Youll be a key point of contact and will work closely with theCommercial Design and Supply Chain departments to ensure ourprojects are delivered first time every time against budget and infull.

Anidea of what youll bedoing:
  • You lldesign maintain and own programs of work for projects ensuringalways accurate and that your projects are completed on time and inbudget routinely.
  • You ll provideProject planning Milestone management Scope management Resourceforecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across theproject portfolio.
  • You re able to maximise profitability for the businessconsidering innovative technologies better practices or sustainablesolutions to deliver project efficiencies wherever possible to doso.
  • You ll attend site whennecessary to troubleshoot monitor quality oversea progression orconduct audits.
  • You ll communicateroutine updates and reports at an operational and commercial levelinternally and externally.



Requirements

When you join you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities todevelop further through our in house trainingacademy.

Youllhave a proven track recordof:

  • Best practice project management with extensiveexperience particularly within the electrical utilityindustry.
  • Understanding the project life cycle fromownership to completion along with an awareness and management ofcross functional interdependencies
  • Problem solving strategic thinking andbeing agile in challenging situations with the ability to findappropriate costeffective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills adaptingyour communication style when required along with the ability towork alongside multiple teams at any one time.
  • Top notchorganisation and coordination skills with the ability to drive anddeliver complex multimillionpound projects.

Youll already have experience &qualifications in:

  • Working for an ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels(33132kV)
  • Project Management with a qualification orequivalent experience (e.g. Prince 2 APM PMI)
  • The use ofProductivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft OfficeMicrosoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such assmart phones tablets laptops etc
  • The use of MS Project or equivalentProject Management software
  • Full UK drivinglicense.
