Location: Epping, Essex

Smart Marble Group is a well-established and respected provider in the industry, known for sourcing, fabricating, and installing marble, granite, and quartz. We specialize in delivering high-end interior projects, working with some of the UK’s leading architectural, design, and construction companies.

We are currently seeking an experienced stonemason to join our busy workshop. The role involves cutting and finishing granite, marble, and quartz to a high standard for a variety of prestigious projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•Cutting and finishing natural stone surfaces to precise specifications

•Ensuring excellent quality control and attention to detail for high-end works

•Maintaining good communication and working well within a team

Requirements:

•Minimum of 5 years full-time stonemasonry experience

•Experience working with marble, granite, and quartz (3 years minimum)

•Strong communication skills and a good standard of English

•Ability to showcase skills during a short trial period

•Positive attitude and team-player

Preferred Qualifications:

•CSCS card (preferred)

•Full driving license (preferred)

Job Details:

•Full-time, Permanent

•8-hour shift

•Salary: To be confirmed

Location: Epping, Essex (Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting)

Requirements

For the stonemason role at Smart Marble Group, the key requirements could include the following:

Experience and Skills:

1.Minimum 2 Years of Full-Time Stonemasonry Experience

Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience working with natural stone materials such as marble, granite, and quartz.

2.Expertise in Cutting and Finishing

The ability to accurately cut, shape, and finish stone to meet the high standards expected for premium projects.

3.Attention to Detail and Quality Control

Strong focus on precision and ensuring high-quality workmanship for luxury interior projects.

4.Experience in Working with Marble, Granite, and Quartz

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience specifically working with these materials.

5.Good Communication Skills

Being able to communicate effectively with colleagues, project managers, and clients, as needed.

6.English Proficiency

A good standard of spoken and written English to understand project requirements and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.CSCS Card (Preferred)

While not mandatory, a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card is preferred, indicating a solid understanding of health and safety practices.

2.Full Driving License (Preferred)

A valid driver’s license is preferred, especially for commuting or traveling to client sites.
