Job Description:

Join us as a Reliability Specialist where you will be responsible for the completion of Project and Operational related Reliability activities. 

Your Key Duties will include; 

To set up Reliability process specific IT/IM tools in line with Asset Strategy & Reliability (AS&R) Anglo Operating Platform (AOP) requirements. Manage elements and support the completion of the Maintenance Readiness elements in alignment with the project plan. Lead the development of Asset Strategy & Reliability policies for Woodsmith.  Assess project outputs for compliance with the Anglo American AS&R Framework and other applicable standards.  Provide direction and participate in new equipment specifications.  Act as Reliability (Asset Management) representative in the asset design review sessions for the Reliability and Availability topics.  Manage the Equipment Criticality Assessment program to ensure it is carried out and implemented to the required Anglo standard. Facilitation of ad hoc sessions may also be required.  Manage the Maintenance strategy and Risk Based Maintenance (RCM, FMEA etc) programs to ensure they are carried out and implemented to the required Anglo standard (or above). Facilitation of ad hoc sessions may also be required.  Provide coaching and training for key Reliability processes.  Lead and Support programs and processes aimed at imbedding a Reliability Mindset throughout the design and construction phases.  Support IM in the development of the performance monitoring and measurement systems to ensure they are fit for purpose (for Predictive Maintenance and Asset Health Monitoring)  Develop and manage the Condition Monitoring strategy; this may include coordinating and supervising contract resources as required.  Act as Reliability (Asset Management) representative in Handover activities for new assets.  For Anglo American Operational Plant and Life of Mine assets:  Monitor, manage and improve equipment performance including Bad Actors. Monitor, manage and improve reliability performance. Manage small continuous improvement projects relating to Asset Management.  Carry out auditing and assurance of information and activities supporting our Maintenance and Reliability strategies. Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations (as required).  Role will transition to an Operational Reliability role.  Qualifications: 10+ years experience in the Asset Strategy, Reliability and/or Technical Services discipline, in a heavy industry operational environment. Appropriate (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Structural) Engineering qualification or equivalent experience with a technical certification. Reliability related qualification (i.e. CMRP, CRE) considered an asset. 

Technical Knowledge: 

Reliability Principles: Skilled in Reliability based Maintenance processes and applications. Skilled in Root Cause Analysis Causal methods. Knowledge of Life Cycle Costing. Skilled in reliability analytic methods (Pareto, Weibull etc). Knowledge of operational processes within scope of role.  Applied knowledge in Condition Monitoring Techniques and Total Fluids Management. Knowledge of Reliability Modelling processes and tools is advantageous. Skilled in Continuous Improvement processes.  Knowledge and application of Mines Regulations and Asset Management standards is advantageous.  Awareness of Structural and Integrity principles.  Commercial awareness.  High level of competency with Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
