Hooray are delighted to be supporting a longstanding leading provider of education to assist in the recruitment for a Financial Controller to join their team on a full-time permanent basis

As a Financial Controller, you will:

  • Lead & develop the finance team alongside the Finance Director
  • Provide financial insights to ensure long-term financial stability
  • Take the lead on the budgeting process, building relationships with heads of departments
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts
  • Accurately record all financial transactions
  • Oversee annual audits, liaising with auditors where necessary

To be successful as a Financial Controller, you will:

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Have proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Be analytical in your approach
  • Independent school experience would be advantageous, however, not essential

In return, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £58,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time permanent position.
