Do you have finance and admin experience and want to work part- time, mainly working from home? This role is 3 days a week Monday-Wednesday 9am until 5pm typically coming into our Chorley office once a fortnight. Join our dedicated team at Family Care Group as a Part-Time Business Support Administrator This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our finance and business operations.


Key Responsibilities:Finance Administration:

  •        Checking receipts and exporting expenses into Xero
  •        Posting supplier invoices on Xero and setting up pay runs
  •        Matching fuel receipt invoices and chasing outstanding receipts
  •        Liaising with utility company companies to get best prices and checking bills
  •        Answering the phone and clearing the business support in box
  •        Assisting with scanning and archiving when required
  •        Dealing with any issues regarding telephones
  •        Keeping policies and procedures up-to-date
  •        Maintaining spreadsheets of documents sent to Ofsted
  •    Cover for colleagues in other Business Support areas eg H&S admin 


What We're Looking For:

  • Strong admin/finance skills (experience of using computerised accounting system, eg SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks etc).
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding children.
