Claims Handler - London Market

Pro Insurance currently has a new opportunity for a Claims Handler to join the Marine and Energy Claims team.

This role will be working on a hybrid basis and successful candidates will be required to travel to Gloucester and London when required.

Responsibilities

• Handling live claims (including high value and/or complex claims) from cradle to grave.
• Direct and/or Reinsurance Claims
• Claims deriving from various territories (including USA; Europe; South America; Australia & Asia)
• Liaison with internal & external parties (including Pro’s Clients / Brokers / Experts / other Claims Agreement Parties)
• Strict compliance with SLA’s
• Adhering to clients internal reporting requirements.
• Occasional travel to London / Client’s offices

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Lloyds and/or London Market practices would be preferred but not essential

• It would be beneficial to have  working knowledge of Energy, Marine classes of business along with experience of any other classes such as Property, Casualty, Aviation, political risks etc.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to meet Client SLA requirements
• Self-Motivated with the ability to work as part of an office based or remote team
• Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
• A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
