We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Cardiff to assist withthe appointment of a Trainee Caretakeron a 3month contract highly likely tobe extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV forimmediate consideration.
Rate ofPay: 10.79 13.50 per hour
Summary:
To assist with providing a mobile caretaking and cleaningservice for all communal areas within blocks of flats includinghighrise blocks and community living complexes within Cardiff. Alsoto assist with the cleaning and clearance within hostels and allother supported housing accommodation including Voids HLS and otherproperties within the housing services stock.
This will include the reporting of repairs fly tipping andantisocial behaviour issues on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Toassist with the delivery of a highquality mobile cleaning serviceand clean and clear support to Voids HLS andHostels.
- Toundertake all duties in line with service area and corporatepolicies and procedures.
- To ensure riskassessments are followed and tasks are carried out and any councilvehicle is driven in accordance with the councils health and safetypolicy and the relevant procedures.
- Reportrepairs and ensure that if asbestos has been disturbed it isreported to Community Action Supervisorpromptly.
- To assist with the cleaning andclearance of properties the surrounding or communal areas utilisingappropriate plant and equipment asnecessary.
- To assist in maintaining routinedocumentation including daily defect book drivers daily returnforms and other transport documentation.
Experience:
- Experience of using newtechnology.
