The Role


As a Receptionist, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will be undertaking reception duties at our QinetiQ Portsdown Technology Park, presenting a positive image of QinetiQ and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed.

Day-to-day, you will: Work and collaborate with another receptionist to manage telephone calls, administer complex visitor bookings and book individuals onto site. Provide reception service and assist internal and external customers. Maintain a range of records, enter, collate and organise data using standard methods. Manage telephone calls and utilise voicemails accurately capturing and relaying back messages. Send and receive mail or goods using standard security and safety procedures.

 
This role is a full-time position based at our Portsdown Technology Park site and is fully on-site.

Essential experience of the Receptionist:

Demonstrable experience in a customer facing role. Excellent communication skills with the ability to multi-task. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail. Proven willingness to learn.

 
Qualifications for the Receptionist:

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent demonstrable experience.
