Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job are to support the Medical Records Manager and Team Leader as follows:

Day to day supervision of staff and to ensure that all teams are supported to locate, prepare and provide case notes for all outpatient attendances and emergency admissions Recruitment and selection of new staff Ensure induction and training of staff in liaison with departmental leadership team Reporting of sickness absence and completion of back to work interviews Prepare and adapt staff rotas

Knowledge

Computer literate, experience of using a keyboard plus skills equivalent to RSA II Knowledge of NHS patient based systems

Good understanding and knowledge of current NHS policies and procedures.
