An excellent secondary setting in Stockport is looking for a full-time cover supervisor. Experience covering a class in a similar capacity is essential. Strong senior leaders have worked hard to ensure that the behaviour throughout the school is excellent - and this was highlighted by Ofsted when they last visited. Located next to a train station, the school is easy to get to by car and by public transport.

As a Cover Supervisor you'll be expected to:

• Cover classes across KS3/4 in all areas of the school curriculum.
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
• Hold high expectations of behaviour in classess and around the school
• Follow behaviour policies and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Maintain discipline.
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

• Experience working as a cover supervisor or in a similar capacity previously
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
