About our Nursery
Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool at Lewes are proud to hold Ofsted rating GOOD. The warm and friendly team look forward to welcoming a new Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life.
A full time role of 40 hours per week, or part time role 20 hours per week (flexible) will be considered.
Our nursery is recently fully refurbished, located in close proximity to the local town of Lewes with local shops & restuarants and the local train station within 5 minute walk and major bus routes.

What to expect as a Nursery Practitioner
As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs. Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps. Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements. And most of all…have FUN*To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse*
