About the role
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Research Culture team. This role is available as a secondment for internal UCL staff only, from 1st August for 12 months.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, the successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 1 day/week on campus.
Reporting to the Director of Research Culture, Project Manager will manage programmes and projects within UCL’s Research Culture Programme and be responsible for developing and maintaining programme-level documentation and processes.
They will ensure robust management and delivery of individual projects by working with programme, operational staff and subject matter experts. They will monitor and report on the progress of faculty projects. They will coordinate with the wider team and manage dependencies with key partners across UCL.

About you
To be considered for this role, you should have experience in a similar role, where you have been responsible for the successful delivery of full lifecycle projects, including defining scope and agreeing outcomes in a large organisation. You should also be skilled in the effective use of project management methodologies, principles and techniques to plan, monitor and progress projects to successful completion.
You are a practical and pragmatic individual, someone who can ‘take the pain’ out of process and governance, and who can work in a highly collaborative way with project colleagues and other business stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You are very organised and able to prioritise, and are also able to work under your own direction.
