Informatics Data Scientist

Based at the GSK Ware manufacturing site (andreporting to the sites Informatics Data Science Manager) the roleof Informatics Data Scientist (locally known as Informatics DataScience Expert) is to deliver innovative data solutions andimprovements for the site. This includes creating dashboards tomonitor product performance developing models to reduce waste (inmanufacturing) and automating reporting processes. You will useyour expertise to enhance efficiency and optimise production in ourRespiratory and Oral Solid Dose medicines portfolios.
Key Responsibilities(include..)
- Automatedata collection reporting and visualisation to make data moreaccessible and useful.
- Use scientificoperational and process performance data to maximise businessbenefits and improve product and process performance.
- Support product data transfers and implement improvementsin product performance and processes for New Product Introduction(NPI).
- Work with Digital Data Analytics (DDA)experts and customers to support datadriven decisionmaking changemanagement and rootcause.
- Provide subjectmatter expertise in data aspects of Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) including troubleshooting and data interpretation.
- Collaborate with RD Supply Quality Manufacturing SciencesTechnology and Tech teams to ensure data and reportinginfrastructure meets requirements for investigations regulatorysubmissions or CAPA.
BasicQualifications:
- Bachelors degree in relevant subject (eg; Data SciencePharmaceuticals Biological or Computer Sciences AnalyticalChemistry Chemistry Mathematics Engineering or related subject withhigh numeracy content).
- Experience workingwith multidisciplinary teams solving problems and managing complexprocess improvements in data analytics programming orstatistics.
PreferredQualifications:
- Understanding of SAS (SAS EG) or python programming fordata manipulation analysis and report generation.
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI(Microsoft Power Platform).
- Knowledge of orinterest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)techniques.
- Background in a pharmaceuticals orother similar industry with an understanding of dataintegrity/GxP.
