Job Summary:

As a DatabaseArchitect with a law firm in the US you will play a pivotal role indesigning and managing SQLbased databases on the Microsoft/Azurestack. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the firmsoperations and ensuring seamless data management within acomplianceheavy environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust database solutionson the Microsoft/Azure stack for operationalsupport.
  • Lead themigration/Setup of databases to Azure with a focus on minimaldowntime and data integrity.
  • Manage SQLbased databases optimizing performancescalability and security.
  • Collaborate with IT team members andstakeholders to integrate database services into the firmsinfrastructure.
  • Maintaindetailed documentation on database architecture andprocedures.
  • Stay abreast ofindustry trends to enhance existing systems and recommendimprovements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a DatabaseArchitect with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azuretechnologies.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of database principlesstructures and practices.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations ina legal firm setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Microsoft SQLServer and Azure Database Administration.
  • Experience in legal or complianceheavyindustries.
