Site Location: SpaMedica, 43 Churchgate, Bolton, BL1 1HU.

*Please note this role is not remote, candidates must be able to travel to Bolton 5 days per week*

Role and Responsibilities of our Reporting Analyst:

  • Supporting the production of daily/weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Creating custom reports on an ad-hoc basis, presented in an ‘easy-to-understand’ format.
  • Work across departments to ensure consistency of information across the organisation.
  • Ensure data requests are effectively prioritised and are actioned within the agreed SLA.
  • Formulating and submitting NHS statutory return datasets.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure business needs are met.
  • Provide support and training to less experienced colleagues.
  • Investigate queries raised in relation to data produced by the Informatics Team
  • Continuous improvement, development and streamlining of reporting processes.
  • Providing system administration support to end users.

Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about data and have an interest in developing a career within healthcare informatics. They will have a strong technical foundation and the confidence to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

The successful candidate will

  • Understand MS Excel to an advanced level including Power Query, VBA, Macros.
  • Be able to write complex SQL queries combining data across multiple data sources.
  • Have experience of using SSRS and Power BI.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work well under pressure and sure and be able to effectively manage workload.
  • Be able to think logically and problem solve.
  • Have a flexible approach and able to respond well to changes in daily tasks or business demands.
  • Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrate communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey messages in a clear, concise, and constructive manner.
