The Advanced Generator Service Engineer will ensure instructions received from the Service Manager are carried out in a timely and effective manner in respect of Service, maintenance, and repair of the Wernick Power fleet for the day to day running of the Wernick Power Solutions depot. As the Advanced Generator Service Engineer you will demonstrate excellent customer service at all times and ensure Wernick standards are maintained as detailed in service standard document, depot standards and asset preparation guide..

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generator Service, maintenance, and repair of the Wernick Power fleet.

  • Maintain Wernick standards as detailed in service standard document, depot standards and asset preparation guide.

  • Show initiative and the ability manage own time and productivity, meeting deadlines when required

  • Carry out site installation and commissioning including the set up and syncing of generators, battery storage systems and other equipment

  • Carry out fault finding and major repairs both on site and in depot when required

  • To attend training as required to carry out duties

  • Carry out on-call duties in rotation with other engineering staff

  • Carry out work in accordance with company approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements

  • To work additional hours (overtime) as is reasonably required by the business

  • Adhere to current Health & Safety Legislation. 

Note:

Previous Generator Service and maintenance experience is essential to be considered for this role.

Advanced Generator Service Engineers would be expected to support other engineering staff when required.
