Digital Consulting Specialist

Context: I nformation Management (IM) develops and optimises the engine that powers De Beer’s digital and technology ecosystems, so our people can make life brilliant in the ways we work and operate. We are a team of highly specialised experts who consistently push the boundaries of digital, technology, and automation - innovating to drive a smarter, safer, and more sustainable enterprise.
This is a tactical and operational role conducting and managing IM demand management, supporting and enabling the digital transformation in Brands and Corporate functions. They are aligned with IM and business objectives and operating model.
Purpose: Support with conducting demand management and prioritising digital opportunities aligned with architecture and business goals for Brands & Corporate functions
Work safely and be committed to being a safety leader Support demand management, collaborating with business units to prioritise digital transformation initiatives aligned with application architecture and business goals Support the development and maintenance of a clear roadmap for digital projects, optimizing resource usage and integration with existing systems Collaborate with application architects to ensure digital solutions comply with technology standards and principles Monitor and report on the progress and impact of digital initiatives, generating data-driven insights to support informed decisions Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, fostering innovation in digital consulting focussed on Retail and Corporate as industries ·Foster relationships and engage with stakeholders to gain support for digital initiatives in line with application architecture ·Adheres to and participates in governance forums and processes Qualifications: An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM or functional discipline Experience working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment Certifications in relevant discipline. Examples include, IT Service management (ITIL), PMP, TOGAF architecture method, membership of an industry body or chartered institute. Business case formulation, design, and delivery of global enterprise solutions · Stakeholder engagement and management Functional exposure to relevant applications and process Ability to work across organisational and functional boundaries, with good influencing skills, excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills Overarching governance and quality management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations New technologies and their impact on operational activities · Business improvement & strategy, tools and techniques Proven skills in setting goals, planning, prioritising and administering work · Catalyst to delivering improvements and change Capacity to learn quickly, understand complex business processes, and spot development areas Strong thinking and problem-solving skills. A self-starter who takes the initiative and follows through Understands business strategies and can make the link to IM contribution · Understands the IM Architecture and how their own work contributes to its achievement Translating ideas into practical initiatives to be implemented and a demonstration of successful execution and delivery of initiatives within the Project Management area Process design, data management, analysis and reporting activities. · Experience in Demand Management Administration, Portfolio & Investment Admin, Financial Admin and Change Implementation Planning Nurturing Innovation · Industry knowledge – Retail & Corporate-
