Step Teachers is excited to collaborate with a well-regarded secondary school in Edmonton, seeking a passionate and dedicated General Science Teacher to join their team from September 2024 on a supply basis. This is a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated school that is known for it’s ambitious and supportive environment.

General Science Teacher - Role:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering the science curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment with adequate resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

General Science Teacher - Requirements:

  • A relevant Science degree is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a General Science Teacher at secondary level.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
