About The Role

Location: Halifax

Salary £12.34 per hour Working 24 hours per week Guaranteed min of 3 days per week Flexible hours to suit the business needs  Monday - Friday Start time: 08:00am - 17:00pm flexible hours to suit the business needs with half hour unpaid break Includes weekend and Bank holidays. B/H: overtime x2 plus day in lieu Summer hours: 08:00:17:00pm, Winter hours 08:00- 4:00pm on Saturday start: 08:00am Summer: Sunday: 09:00am - 16:00pm - Winter: 10:00am- 16:00pm

What will I be doing?

Providing excellent levels of customer service, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials they are depositing,

This will involve:

Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site. Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly. Maintaining a tidy site within his/her areas of responsibility. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

What are the requirements?

With the potential to gain qualifications including IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific), we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure operations exceed the standards required. A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.

What you will need is:

A good level of customer service and team work approach Ideally some prior mobile plant use is desirable but full training will be given.
