We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Thameside a category B resettlement prison in the South-East London based close to Woolwich Arsenal and Plumstead stations.

In this role you will be supporting around 1232 patients including an 18 bed inpatient unit. This position would suit a GP who enjoys delivering end to end care and has a particular interest in supporting patients with mental health and substance misuse needs. You will be working closely with a fully staffed specialist mental health and inpatient team as well as two ANPs.

This role also come with the potential to take on a rotational role between HMP Thameside and HMP Belmarsh, giving a wider variety of clinical experience.

This position is full time role working 40 hours per week, youll receive an annual salary up to £125,400per annum - depending on experience.

Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment. Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
