Responsibilities
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability of building projects
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Prepare project reports, budgets, and schedules, and manage project documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, building trust and managing expectations
- Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring delivery within budget constraints
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD to produce technical drawings and models
- Coordinate and schedule inspections and tests as required by regulatory and building codes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in project management in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building design, construction methodologies, and project management principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to work on and off-site and occasional travel as required.
