About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the national curriculum.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that stimulate curiosity and enhance student understanding of scientific principles.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
• Contribute to a positive learning atmosphere, encouraging student participation and academic growth.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support school initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
