We are looking to recruit a Digital SkillsTeaching Assistant with previous experience providing learnersupport preferably in an online setting and with an enthusiasm fordigital subjects. This post will focus on providing assistance toDigital Skills Tutors monitoring learner work administrative tasksand overall learner support for students aged 16years.

pplicants need to have basic literacy andnumeracy skills GCSE or equivalent in Maths or English andexperience of working with learners.

Tasks
  1. Workalongside the tutors providing learning support tostudents.
  2. Assist with the delivery and theevaluation of programme content to meet the needs of our learnersand contracts.
  3. Feed into the continuousimprovement of programme content and associated materials to helpdrive performance and quality ofprovision.
  4. Assisting with diagnosing learnersneeds and to help to formulate programmes that will meet thoseneeds.
  5. Help to provide a highquality learningexperience for students.
  6. Assist with studentassessment including monitoring learner progress completion ofprogress reviews and completion ofassessment.
  7. Liaise with staff and otherorganisations to provide information and support forstudents.
  8. Accept responsibility for specificrolerelevant tasks as requested to you by the Managing Director.
  9. Maintain appropriaterecords.
  10. Undertake all administrative tasksassigned by management and to participate in the planning processoperating within the teachingteam.
Requirements

Applicantswill have most if not all the following skills andexperience:

  • Be able to demonstrate anenthusiasm for digital subjects.
  • Have strongadministrative skills.
  • Be an effectivecommunicator.
  • Be a team player with an abilityto form good workingrelationships.
Benefits

Hoursof Work: Fulltime 37.5 hours per week. Parttime byagreement

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annumprorata.

Pension: DPN offers all eligibleemployees to join the NEST workplace pensionscheme.
