Job summary
The Trust requires a Linen Lead to help organise and supervise all linen distribution requirements throughout the hospital.
The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring a safe and effective working area, monitoring the quality of linen received and reporting any shortages.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the Linen Lead will include:
- Organising and supervising all linen distribution requirements
- Providing an effective linen distribution service and coordinating activities to achieve optimum distribution levels.
- Monitoring the quality of linen received reporting any shortages to the external contractor.
- General maintenance of the linen distribution area, to provide a safe working environment.

Must demonstrate an ability to order, manage, store and deliver stock or linen to optimise stock levels
Education
Essential
Educated to Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English at GCSE Level, or equivalent level of understanding gained via experience

Must have an advanced ability to work and manage good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff and suppliers
