Pay Rate: £12.50ph

Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:00

Permanent position

The Heat Treatment Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining heat treatment equipment, preparing and processing materials, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for excellence in material science.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct heat treating processes according to specified requirements.
- Monitor and adjust controls to achieve desired mechanical properties and microstructures.
- Perform routine maintenance on heat treatment equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to verify that treatments meet industry standards and specifications.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records for traceability and quality control.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- A solid understanding of metallurgical principles and heat treatment techniques.
- Experience with various types of heat treatment equipment and controls.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to tasks.
