The Role: As a General Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. From providing one-on-one support to small groups of students to helping with classroom activities and administrative tasks, your contribution will directly impact the success and well-being of thepupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Assisting students with their academic progress and social development
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily routines
  • Providing feedback and encouragement to students to foster a love of learning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
