Payroll & Accounts Administrator

Payroll & Accounts Administrator Benefits:

  • Location: Doncaster, DN10 - full time office based
  • Hours: 40 per week 08.30am/9.00am - 16.30pm / 17.00pm with ½ hr dinner break over 5 days (flexibility can be discussed)
  • Salary £27,000
  • Holiday entitlement: 28 days per annum (including Bank Holidays)
  • Pension: Auto-Enrolment Pension will apply as required.

Payroll & Accounts Administrator Duties:

Xero Accounting software Duties:

  • Raising Sales invoices
  • Inputting Purchase Invoices (Including Financed/HP Asset purchases an advantage)
  • Allocating Bank Feed transactions
  • Compiling Wage Journals manually into Xero
  • VAT Returns
  • CIS Experience
  • Run Debtors & Creditors Reports - including chase debtors

Sage Payroll Duties:

  • Complete a weekly and monthly payroll, including Starters/Leavers and run necessary reports for two companies/21 members of staff
  • Pension admin

HMRC Duties:

  • CIS reporting
  • VAT reporting via Xero

Payroll & Accounts Administrator Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and payroll systems
  • Experience of working with Sage and CIS
  • Able to work seamlessly across 4 business with their group of companies
  • Able to work in your own initiative and happy to sometimes work alone
