Your New Role

As our new Managing Director of UK/EU, you will be at the forefront of expanding and optimising our business across these key markets. This critical and strategic leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of the business, driving market awareness, scaling operations, and accelerating sales growth. You’ll lead a high-performing team, foster valuable partnerships, and ensure our products exceed customer expectations while aligning with frank green’s global vision and sustainability values.

In this entrepreneurial role, you’ll be responsible for the entire business lifecycle within the UK/EU. From designing and executing regional sales, marketing, PR, and digital strategies to managing supply chain operations, you’ll ensure seamless alignment with our global leadership team. Your expertise will allow you to identify growth opportunities, establish a strong brand presence, and maintain operational excellence.

Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving frank green’s regional growth targets and setting a solid foundation for sustainable, profitable expansion in the UK/EU markets.

Your Day to Day

  • Lead the UK/EU business strategy, aligning with global objectives to drive sustainable growth.
  • Take full P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and optimal resource allocation to achieve commercial success.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales, marketing, PR, and digital strategies, building brand awareness and market share.
  • Oversee logistics and supply chain management for cost-effective, efficient delivery that meets customer demand.
  • Ensure operational excellence by streamlining processes, leveraging technology, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government entities, retail partners, and suppliers, championing frank green’s interests.
  • Uphold a customer-first approach, ensuring the brand resonates with regional audiences while upholding frank green’s global reputation.
  • Oversee compliance with local and international laws, managing risks and meeting global standards.
  • Drive innovation by identifying trends, adapting to evolving customer needs, and staying ahead of industry advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Leadership Team to align regional initiatives with global business goals.
  • Advocate for frank green’s commitment to sustainability, ensuring that regional operations reflect the brand’s environmental standards.

What You Need

  • Significant senior leadership experience in multi-market operations, with full P&L responsibility, ideally within retail, consumer goods, or sustainability sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive rapid revenue growth and market expansion through innovative sales strategies and distributor/retail relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management with a track record of optimisation
  • Strong background in budgeting, resource allocation, financial reporting, and risk management, with proven profitability results.
  • Skilled in process optimisation, driving improvements, and leveraging technology to scale business functions.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining strategic relationships with high-level stakeholders, including retail partners, suppliers, and government entities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of the UK/EU markets, including the cultural, regulatory, and economic factors critical for successful market entry and expansion.
  • Strong ability to anticipate and meet market needs, ensuring brand resonance and consistency across diverse regions.
  • Ability to identify trends, challenge conventional approaches, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record in high-level negotiations across multiple geographies.
  • Possess a robust network of industry contacts, including influencers and decision-makers, to gain insights, drive collaboration, and stay attuned to industry trends.
