Job Duties:- Provide 1:1 support to a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Assist the student in accessing the curriculum and learning materials
- Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Support the student in developing social skills and independence
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Previous experience in a similar role within a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEN support strategies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Training in Autism awareness and behaviour management techniques
- Work hours typically follow the school timetable
- May involve some physical activity and lifting
- Supportive and inclusive school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
