In recent years the company has expandedinto the Security Services industry and can offer an efficientinstallation maintenance and repair services to an extensive rangeof leading security access and smartautomationsystems.

At Livewire we have a dedicated team ofindividuals offering a wide range of experience and technicalexpertise who are dedicated to identifying customer needs andexceeding expectations. Our aim is to provide a high qualityefficient and professional service while maintaining the higheststandards of workmanship and safety.

LivewireTechnical Services are looking to employ an experienced ElectricalEngineer to work with our existing team due to a constant increasein our order book.

Tasks

Thework will include; (but not be limitedtoo)

  • Carry out first and second fixinstallations in Industrial Commercial & Domesticpremises
  • Installation of containment andcabling to a high standard safely
  • Terminationof different cabling at control panels and distributionboards
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systemsapparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools tolocate the cause of a breakdown and correct theproblem
  • Plan layout and installation ofelectrical wiring equipment and fixtures based on jobspecifications and standards
  • Carry out finaltesting of control system
  • Work at height toinstall maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment and fixtures(using appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safe workingprocedures)
  • Inspect electrical systemsequipment and components to identify hazards defects and the needfor adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance withcodes
  • Conducting routine inspections anddiagnostics to identify system issues and provide effectivesolutions.
  • All duties must be performed inaccordance with all company policies andprocedures.
Requirements

Theideal candidate must have at least 2 years electrical experience afull driving license and preferably ECS Gold card. Experience andknowledge of Commercial and Industrial installations would bepreferential.

We are only looking to employengineers living within 30 minutes travel to our office at WN88EB.

Qualifications andCertification:

  • ECS GoldCard
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 Testand Inspection (Desirable)
  • Ability tounderstand and work from schematics.
  • Knowledgeof electrical theory and terminologyrequired.
  • Level 3 City & GuildsElectrical Qualification (Essential)
  • FullDriving Licence (Essential)
  • IPAF(Desirable)
