Key Accountabilities

To provide operational oversight for all employability and careers interventions, including event planning, finance, and marketing To provide operational support for the School’s engagement portfolio, including support for Business Partnerships, Internationalisation, and Alumni activities To line-manage and support a student intern to ensure they deliver against objectives Act as a point of contact and develop new links with external organisations relating to employer-led activities To write and develop engaging content to promote a range of activities to current students To coordinate information and processes for CRM and other systems, ensuring relevant databases are maintained and up to date To support and coordinate regular reporting for relevant committees within the School. This will include maintaining and analysing statistical information relating to the activities of the School and providing relevant management information for University/School purposes Manage and develop administrative processes that ensure efficient and effective operations and recording of engagement activities Process finance requests and coordinate relevant budgets, including monitoring and reporting on expenditures Willingness and availability to work unsocial hours (evenings and weekends) when required To take on a generic health and safety role within the School Other duties, as defined by line manager, which support the successful achievement of Business School’s vision, strategy, and operations

The Person 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Excellent project management skills Ability to work effectively in and lead a small team Experience and understanding of customer relationship management and/or customer service High level of organisational and time management skills and able to manage a range of tasks simultaneously Excellent communication, both verbal and written skills Ability to manage large amounts of information and pay attention to detail Excellent IT skills, including experience of MS Office packages Sound numeracy skills, with the ability to compile, interpret and report on statistical and financial data Experience of successful event administration and co-ordination within a large organisation

Qualifications

Grades A-C in English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (or vocational qualifications or equivalent) and/or demonstrable work experience in a relevant role and/or comparable setting
