Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
- You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)

About the Nursing Home:
A traditional, medium sized nursing home for older adults . Predominately for adults with general nursing needs as well as palliative care/ end of life needs. The home can accept Mild to Moderate Dementia Nursing needs. The home has a good CQC rating and has a very supportive Home Manager.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
- Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
- Creating individualised care plans for residents.
- Updating care plans daily.
- Safely administering and recording of medication.
- Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
- Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
- Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
- Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individuals needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
