A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experiencedAccount Handler to join a company that is going through a period ofgrowth.

Hours 9 - 5 (Monday toFriday)

If you have circa 2 years worth ofexperience in a similar Account Handler role and a desire to learnthen the company will offer you all the support and training youwill need.

Account Handler RoleSummary:

- Address client and insurer requestspromptly, exceeding service standards andfollowing
Company procedures.
- Negotiaterenewals with insurers to achieve favourable outcomes for clients,maintaining
high renewal retention rates.
-Conduct active housekeeping of Task Management, issuing clientinvoices promptly, and
addressing outstandingactivities.
- Ensure prompt debiting of renewals, and newbusiness and actively participate in setting
up financeagreements, promptly addressing any account queries.
-Assist Account Executives in broking and placing new clients,contributing to overall team
success.
-Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities forappropriate products to
existing clients.
-Deliver superior service by keeping promises, meeting deadlines,and ensuring professional
communication.
-Contribute to developing and implementing operational improvementscompany-wide.
- Maintain files appropriately for easyaccessibility by others and assist colleagues with their workloadas needed.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, andindustry codes of practice, including CII Code of
Ethics,and the Company's procedures and rules.
- Always ensurefair treatment of clients and manage potential conflicts ofinterest.
- Maintain and develop personal knowledge andskills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD), internaland external training sessions, and staying updated on technical,legal, and market developments.

Candidateprofile -

- A minimum of 2 years of brokingexperience
- Knowledge of Property, Package Policies andContractors All Risk, Commercial Combined.
- Stronginterpersonal skills and excellent communication skills,particularly over the phone
- The ability to workefficiently under pressure and prioritise yourworkload.
- Excellent planning, organisational and timemanagement skills
- Be a good team player with a drive tosucceed.
- Negotiation skills
- Actscompliantly with a good understanding of regulatoryrequirements.
- IT literate with client systems andMicrosoft packages
- Ideally, be qualified to Cert CIIlevel or be prepared to attain this with support from thebusiness.
- Delegated Authorities - Understand theresponsibilities inherent in acting on insurers' behalf andimplementing, ensuring compliance with regulations and insureragreements.

This is an excellent opportunityand there will be the opportunity to work hybrid after a period oftraining.
