Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PPA Cover Teacher to join our team. The Successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover across various primary schools within the East Lancashire area. PPA cover involves stepping in for teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time, ensuring that students continue to receive high-quality education in their absence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-          Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.

-          Follow existing lesson plans and schemes of work provided by the school.

-          Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.

-          Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.

-          Liaise with school staff and colleagues to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

-          Experience working as a Primary School Teacher.

-          Strong classroom management skills.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
